Yixuan obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Yangzhou University, China. She specialised in Crop Improvement during her first Master’s study at the University of Nottingham in the UK. After that, she completed a second Master’s study in Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. Her MSc theses mainly focused on plant physiology, phytopathology and bioinformatics. She joined the Majda lab in March 2023.
